The bolt on solid Rosewood neck features a modern Deep C profile, designed for speed and comfort; it's equally at home playing big chords or intricate lead work. 22 Narrow Tall frets, a 9.5" radius and 25.5" scale length make this Stratocaster feel familiar and supremely comfortable.

The defining feature comes in the form of the Tim Shaw designed V-Mod single coil pickups, super dynamic and offering a multi-dimensional tone, these pups are voiced individually for each position, mixing alnico magnet types to produce powerful, balanced tones with original Fender secret sauce. With an on board treble bleed circuit; your tone will remain clear and consistent even when lowering the guitars volume.

New for 2017 is the Fender American Professional Series guitars and basses. The USA Standard models have been completely revamped and updated. As well as well loved classic like the Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jazz and Precision basses a number of other models are now available. The 2017 lineup includes an American Pro Jazzmaster, Jaguar and Deluxe Teles and more.

Differences between the American Standard Series and 2017 American Professional.

So what has been updated? A series of small improvements have evolved the American Standard line. The guitars, including the Stratocaster and Telecaster, now feature a new Deep C profile which differs from the Modern C. The frets used have been changed too. The American Standards used Medium Jumbo. The USA Pro Series comes with Narrow Tall frets. Pickups have been changed to new V-Mod ones on some of the single coil models. All of the instruments now include a Bone nut, upgraded from Synthetic. The American Stratocaster has got a new bridge with a pop in trem arm. This makes sense to us. All of the Fender American Professional Series now come with an Elite Moulded case. 

This Fender American Pro Stratocaster in 3-Colour Sunburst features a maple neck with a Maple fretboard. New for 2016/2017 it replaces the outgoing USA Standard Strat.
