A TRUE CHANNEL SWITCHING TERROR

With an individual voice and character the Brent Hinds Terror is its own beast. Designed in collaboration with Mastodon’s Brent Hinds, the amp features two channels and a new gain structure that makes it a completely unique Terror.

The single control on the natural channel has been redesigned with more bottom end but retains the finely balanced and highly playable character of the Rocker series. The dirty channel has a different 3 stage gain structure. It’s brighter at lower gain levels and fattens up the more you dial the gain in. The new gain structure also means that the gain comes in more quickly.

Power switching options of 15, 7, 1 and 0.5 Watts make it perfect for bedroom, studio, and stage. Using the beefy Terror transformers, the Brent Hinds Terror is able to take full advantage of the EL84 output section, giving players the ability to create warm valve compression and saturation at neighbour friendly volume.

BRIGHT & BREEZY

Fitted with a pair of Celestion Vintage 30 speakers, the PPC212OB’s design accentuates the top end frequencies whilst softening the bass response. The split rear panel means the delivery is less directional, creating an airy, spacious and three-dimensional sound. The added presence and chime makes the PPC212OB especially suited for cleaner styles, or for players who want a more vintage combo-type tone from their amp head. The PPC212OB features an 18mm birch plywood shell with our signature skid runners secured to the base to help acoustically couple the cabinet to the stage.

With jangly cleans and high gain filth coexisting in perfect harmony, TH Series amplifiers excel whatever the situation. The Dirty channel features the same powerful Shape control first seen on our Thunderverb series, sweeping the midrange from scooped to boosted. Fine-tuning your distorted tones has never been easier or more rewarding. The Clean channel delivers sweet, crystalline cleans, right up to the point of breakup, whilst the Dirty channel remains unerringly focussed, steeped in complex harmonic overtones even at maximum gain settings.

The TH30 has proved to be one of the most popular heads in the Orange range, and with good reason. The sheer range of tones that can be dialed in from just six controls is nothing short of jawdropping whilst the quartet of EL84 valves convey their own crisp character, breaking up into rich overdrive when pushed to the limit. The switchable output section can be used to tailor the amp to the situation, scaling down from 30
to 15 or 7 Watts. The TH30 also features our low impedance valve buffered effects loop.

A SMALL CAB WITH A BIG DELIVERY

The PPC112 is one of the most popular 1×12″ cabinets on the market today, and with good reason. Its closed-back, 18mm birch plywood enclosure is slightly bigger than a conventional 1×12. This gives the PPC112 a greater internal volume for a fatter tone with excellent projection. Housing a single Celestion Vintage 30 speaker, the cabinet also features our unique skid runners on the base to acoustically couple the cabinets to the stage to improve low end responsiveness. For lower wattage heads like our Terror Series  or the OR15, the PPC112 is an excellent choice.

ORANGE "Rocker 30"

Launched as the Rocker 30 Combo, this Class A twin channel amplifier’s design focus is that of versatile simplicity. This is largely achieved by the single stage clean channel, which produces various shades of clean tones just by turning up the natural volume control. The head was introduced six months after the single 12” combo which replaced the discontinued AD15.

Technical Director, Adrian Emsley, explains the changes made to the Rocker 30’s dimensions and cosmetics:

“The first Rocker 30s were about one inch shorter and had the small logo. These were made in the UK and were also assembled from kits in the USA with Mercury magnetic transformers. We then decided to make them exactly the same length as the standard Orange head. These longer Rocker 30s feature the large badge and crest.”

THE ORIGINAL LUNCHBOX AMPLIFIER

The original “Lunchbox” amp with more than 30,000 units sold. The Tiny Terror is an amp for both the studio and the stage.

All valve, 15 watt portable guitar head. Featuring a unique two stage preamp which has a massive tonal range using just three controls. When driven, this little amp has almost as much gain as most four stage lead channels! The Tiny Terror puts a lot of high-priced, boutique amps to shame with its clean crunch to full on overdrive sounds. At mid gain settings this valve head has masses of vintage British character; the Tiny Terror has been built to the same rugged specification as the bigger Orange amps and its portability makes it perfect for gigging around town or rehearsing. The Tiny Terror switches from 15 to 7 watts for studio use and recording.

THE OR100H – CLASSIC ORANGE STYLING AND TONE

The new OR100H from Orange Amplification can simply be summed up in one word ‘Stunning’! This top of the range guitar amp is the first OR model to feature two channels and delivers up to 100 watts of incredible Orange tone making it the crown jewel of the OR series.

Drawing on the heritage of the original and iconic ‘Pics Only’ launched in 1972, the new OR100H has taken the best of the original features in terms of tone, construction and design and uses today’s expertise to create a guitar amp of epic proportions. Better still, the new amp utilises the very best valve technology to create a tone that is so very special!

The OR100H incorporates for the first time on an ‘OR’ series amp; twin channels, as well as a valve driven FX loop, foot-switchable boosts and independent EQ. The output power can be scaled between 100,70,50 and 30 watts, plus there is a choice of clean and dirty channels.

As well as being one of the most versatile and dynamic amps Orange has ever made, the OR100H delivers a classic tone that is unique to Orange; a sound that so many famous artists describe as ‘the holy grail’ of tones!

All valve, twin channel 30 watt portable guitar head. Featuring a unique two stage preamp which has a massive tonal range using just three controls per channel.

The Dual Terror switches from 30 to 15 to 7 watts making it the ultimate versatile portable amplifier both for studio and stage. The Fat Channel delivers warmer tones whilst the Tiny Terror Channel has the sonic character of the original Tiny Terror.

Note: The Dual Terror does not require re-biasing when replacing power valves.
