LOFIMIND EFFECTS "Mambo Sun"

• The mambo sun is a double booster with our two favorite boost types, the Treblebooster, one based on the Dallas Arbiter Rangemaster Treblebooster, (Granada) and the other on the John Hornby Skewes Rangemaster. Both in the same pedal! to make your head explode!

  The Rangemaster (right) has a germanium transistor while the JHS (left) has a silicon transistor.

  Their sound allows us from boosting the signal to distorting it with any of the boosters.

  It also has an effects loop that allows us to introduce the rest of the pedals between the two boosters, so we can have a boost at the beginning of the chain of pedals and another at the end! the ultimate weapon!

   

 

LOFIMIND EFFECTS "Electric Warrior"

• The Electric Warrior is a Silicon TRIPLE fuzz, based on the Zonk II// Shatterbox//JHS Rangemaster, and in general on Marc Bolan's distorted guitar sound.

LOUD: Controls the amount of volume coming out of the pedal

GLITT: Controls the amount of distortion that is added to the signal. the last part of the potentiometer travel causes the circuit to destabilize, becoming self-oscillating and emitting various t-Rex roars.

MODE: The electric Warrior has a 3-position rotary selector. In the first position you will have an attenuated sound, lower than the rest of the positions, based on the Zonk II sound, in the middle position you have a sound that is quite reminiscent of a Rangemaster Treblebooster, but much more twisted and powerful, and in the last position you have a hyper-vitaminized Fuzz and with an extreme volume output compared to the 1st position.

• The EW can be powered by either 9V batteries or power supplies.

  It uses 2.1 boss type barrels, with negative center, and to avoid noise and leaks, it uses an Isolda power supply. if you don't use an isolated power supply, this noise/oscillation could leak to the other pedals even when the pedal is off. please avoid the daisy chain.

 

LOFIMINDEFFECT "One Bender"

• THE ONE BENDER, is a unique take between the Zonk Machine and the MKI. 

  The sound its crispy and gated, perfect for suit in vintage sounds and in modern gain bands!

  It includes LOUD and BIAS controls, the sound is primitive, with great accent on the blow of the pick, dirty twisted and with a lot of gain, that is to say, it is the bastard brother of the original MK1 of 1965.

 

LOFIMINDEFFECT "Crystal Machine"

THERE ARE A FEW CRYSTAL MACHINES ON THE HORIZON

The CRYSTAL MACHINE is a totally original fuzz design with three rare NOS silicon transistors and two germanium diodes. The crystal machine can be considered an octave up fuzz, with the function of self-silencing or more feedback, but with the CM you can get from great classic germanium tones to the blistering punk rock riffs or solos created by the Stooges, MC5 or Hendrix.The perfect description could be that inside this pedal you have Wayne Kramer having a sound battle with Jimi Hendrix.

• THE GYPSY FACE  its a unique take based on the fuzzface,  with a couple of modifications that really make you stand on the killing floor.

  Some options are avaible to build it with two kind of transistor, silicon NOS transistors or Hybrid (germanium + silicon)

  All the GYPSY FACE are built with NOS  vintage capacitors and NOS vintage resistors, all mounted in a PCB designed by LofiMind Effects mods

  No loss of volume when chaining the pedal, with a great clean up when lowering the guitar volume, and they come close to the octafuzz tones so sought after and characteristic of that classic tone used by Jimi Hendrix

 The Gypsy face can only be powered by 9V batteries.

please, if you want an optimal sound use this pedal at the beginning of your pedal chain, the input impedance of this pedal is very low and if you put pedals in front of it they can sound bad.

LOFIMINDEFFECTS "Granada"

• Granada is a Silicon booster based on the vintage tone from the old Rangemaster units.

  It comes equipped with all NOS components, AB comp carbon resistors and ceramic capacitors. (Erie and RMC)

  This units used the ME4003 transistors or OC44.

  The germanium transistor option is point-to-point mounted

  The booster to bring out a tone, from soft and harmoniou tone to aggressive and distorted sound.

  The main finish is in hammered gold with an artistic stamp of a pomegranate, typical of the city of Granada, hence its name

• The GRX can be powered by either 9V batteries or power supplies.
