VICTORY "V45C The Count Guitar Amp Combo"

 When Victory launched the V30 earlier this year it became an overnight success with its small portable design and versatile two channel design. Some people though prefer combos over a head and cab setup and others wanted some added in amp reverb. Well both of these requests have been put into the new V45 The Count combo amplifier. Still handmade in the UK on a high quality PCB for not only the best quality build but also the most reliable.

New Combo Design

Inside this amplifier is pretty much the same as its smaller brother the 30w V30 although now it has 10w of extra punching power to give you that little bit more volume. You still get 2 channels of high quality sound that will cover you from rock friendly bright cleans to crunchy high gain distortion without fail.

Unlike a lot of combos that have a single 12" speaker the V45C is small and light making it much easier to get from gig to gig without putting out your back.

What Is Different From The V30?

Apart from this not requiring a separate speaker cabinet there are just a few small differences that opens this amp to be used in a wider range of situations. Firstly the V45 has built in high quality digital reverb that can be hard bypassed so it will not effect your signal at all when turned off. This means it is there for if you need it but if not just keep it off and it will not take away from this handmade true valve amplifier.

Another very cool change is that while the V30 could be played at 30w, 15, 9w or 2w the V45 can be used at 40w, 7w, 1.5 or 0.5w. This makes it much more usable at small venues, in the studio or even at home when dialed all the way down to half a watt.

Just like the V30 this amp still has a series FX loop as well as footswitchable channels so you can access all the sounds you need on the fly.

VICTORY "The Super Duchess V140 Head"

England (January 27, 2019) -- Victory Amplification from the UK proudly announces V140 The Super Duchess a 100-watt, single-channel, all-valve guitar amplifier with valve-driven spring reverb and tremolo, evolved from the Heritage Series V40 Deluxe.

Our Compact Series V40 The Duchess surprised many people at launch in 2014. Amid a market packed with multi-channel, multi-feature amps, here was a single-channel valve amp aimed squarely at roots, blues and classic rock players who love to use pedals. It was an instant success and remains one of our best selling models, used by a wide variety of bands and players.The Heritage Series V40 Deluxe combo and head followed in 2017, adding valve-driven spring reverb, tremolo and taking a step towards classic American voicing in the cleans. Like The Duchess it has become much loved for its range of timeless tones in that all-rounder, 40-watt world that suits small and medium gigs perfectly... and of course for recording.

There are a number of players who wanted more, however. More power for even bigger clean tones, with high-headroom dynamics that deliver subtlety and nuance in a way that only a 100-watt amp can. We added another pair of 6L6 power valves and a bigger power transformer to deliver more depth, more clarity and more definition. Enter V140 The Super Duchess. A 100-watt all-valve head in 2019, you ask? You bet – with no apologies.

This dual-channel, EL84-powered amp is all about classic British overdrive sounds, housed in the same light and portable metal chassis as our award-winning V30 and V40 heads. Blues-rock players will love the mid-60s-style feel and response of Input/Volume I, with enough gain to sing but also clean up well off the guitar. Input/Volume II takes off into hot-rodded 70s and 80s territory and beyond, retaining that classic British 'plexi' sound all the way. A separate speaker out gives you bedroom level cranked tone at just 0.3 watts. The Sheriff 22 is for rock players who want to travel small but go over big!

CABINET:

Our speaker cabinets are hand built in England using redwood pine for top and sides and quality Baltic birch ply for backs and baffles. Our speaker baffles are angled back by 12 degrees to help with projection towards you when you’re playing. They’re finished in black bronco vinyl (cream for the V112C and V212VC) with vintage black woven grille cloth to match aesthetically – and of course tonally – with our heads.
