DIAMOND "CTP1 Counter Point" (Unique Delay)

The Counter Point is a unique delay pedal – using carefully constructed sets of multiple delay signal ‘taps’ and variable sample rate modulation, it offers four different delay modes with richly ethereal tones flexible enough to support a wide variety of musical styles.GP_editors_pick_award_badge_2
By utilizing the same variable sample rate concept used in analog bucket brigade modulation, and adding custom analog anti-aliasing and reconstruction filters and companding, we’ve captured the essence of analog modulation and delays… in a small footprint, with advanced control features, and standard 9V powering.
The Counter Point’s digital sampling engine’s sole function is to copy, delay, and reproduce the delay path signal with little or no mathematical manipulation at all* – and unlike standard analog/ digital conversion codecs used in the vast majority of digital audio gear, there are no digital anti-aliasing and reconstruction filters used here. This proven delay architecture delivers richly dynamic tone to thousands of Memory Lane Jr and Quantum Leap’s already in use today. All signal paths around this sampling engine are analog (the direct path, feedback path, and everything before and after the digital sampler), signal paths that are carefully designed to provide a unique sonic signature that is unmistakably Diamond.

DIAMOND "HCH1 Halo Chorus"

The Halo Chorus is a combination delay/pitch modulation/phase modulation chorus design with autoconfigurable I/O for mono, mono in/stereo out, and stereo in/stereo out operation. The combination of pitch and phase modulation can be used together or individually for traditional chorus sounds or unique, spatial tones.
In addition to the top mounted controls there are two user adjustable internal controls (delay time and LFO wave shape) that allow for fine tuning of the chorus from deep and syrupy to light and airy and all points in between.
The stereo ins and outs with independent pitch and phase modulation signal paths allow for a wide variety of parallel and serial configuration options.
Click here for our first MP3 clip of the Halo Chorus, demonstrating Halo controls all set at around 1 to 2 o’clock on the dials. The guitar used is a new American 70’s Strat, info the Halo Chorus, then left channel out to a Fender Custom Shop Vibroverb reissue and right channel to a Marshall 1974x reissue. The sample starts with a stereo recording of the two dry amps, then the Halo switches in for the remainder of the sample.
This second MP3 sample demonstrates the Halo with a Boss EV-5 expression pedal controlling the LFO speed. This sample used a Tele into the Halo into a silver face Fender Princeton Reverb and the Marshall 1974x reissue. This sample has the Halo on throughout its duration.

DIAMOND "QTL1 Quantum Leap" (flange, chorus, filter, tap delay, pitch ramp delay)

The Quantum Leap…. a tone toolkit of short delays. The QL offers lo res delays, flanging and chorusing effects as well as fixed comb filters – effects that are both great on their own, and also as an invaluable ‘companion’ to other analog or digital delays.
By utilizing the same variable sample rate concept used in analog bucket brigade modulation, and adding custom analog anti-aliasing and reconstruction filters and companding, we’ve captured the essence of analog modulation and delays… in a small footprint, with advanced control features, and standard 9V powering. First used in the Memory Lane Junior, the Quantum Leap digital sampling engine’s sole function is to copy, delay, and reproduce the delay path signal with no mathematical manipulation at all* – and unlike standard audio codecs, there are no digital anti-aliasing and reconstruction filters. All signal paths around the sampling engine (direct path, feedback path, and everything before and after the digital sampler) are analog, paths carefully designed to provide a unique sonic signature that is unmistakably Diamond.

DIAMOND "Vibrato" (SOLD)

The new Diamond Vibrato is a dedicated pitch vibrato design using bucket brigade analog delay technology for true pitch modulating vibrato. In addition the pedal also offers analog chorusing via the Chorus control to blend a variable amount of dry signal with the effected signal.
We’ve included 2 mini-toggle switches on the Vibrato. The ‘JAZZ’ switch darkens the tone of the effect offering a more ‘vintage’ flavor. The ‘HIGH’ toggle switches to a higher depth range for more extreme pitch bent sounds.
Expression control of depth, and speed for on-the-fly adjustment and special effects. Mono true bypass operation. Extended headroom 15V internal voltage rail operation. NOS MN3007 bucket brigade delay chips.
Please note: The Diamond Vibrato is a true vibrato – not a Univibe (phase shifter) or a tremolo (often incorrectly referred to as vibrato). The terminology can be confusing

DIAMOND "Comp Jr." (SOLD)

NEW! Introducing the Comp Jr!
When we began work on the original Diamond Compressor back in 2004, our goal was to build a versatile ‘guitar channel’ – a dynamics and tone shaping tool to front-end your effects chain – much like the gain, compression and EQ channels used in traditional recording studio mixers.
Introduced at MusikMesse 2005 in Frankfurt.

DIAMOND "MRQ1 – Marquis Boost"

The Diamond Marquis is based on the boost section of the popular, but very limited edition Diamond J-Drive TR which is in turn based on classic treble booster circuits

DIAMOND "Compressor" (SOLD)

Recording studios often use rackmount 'vocal channels'
- a mic preamp, compressor, and EQ all in one unit as a front end for vocal recording.
The Diamond Compressor is our take on a 'guitar channel'
- a dynamics and tone shaping tool for live and studio use - with low-noise, ultra-linear
signal buffering, smooth opto-based compression, and a versatile 'tilt' EQ that musically
shifts overall frequency balance.
All in a user-friendly 3-control package - just Comp, EQ and Volume.

DIAMOND "Cornerstone"

Introducing the Cornerstone - a new 'variable personality' drive from Diamond Pedals. Capable of low gain grit to touch sensitive crunch to searing leads, its multiple unique discrete gain stages with distributed dual gain controls allows the user to dial in a wide range of harmonically complex distortion tones. The dual gain controls allows the user to independently yet interactively overdrive two of the unique gain stages in the drive chain, which coupled with a midrange cut/boost control and treble 'profile' switch make for limitless tonal 'personalities'. And even with this much flexibility, a simple control layout with usable ranges across the board make finding any particular personality just a matter of seconds...
Gain 1: similar to a 'preamp' gain stage
Gain 2: similar to 'power tube' saturation, with wider range
Mids: midrange cut/boost control
Bright (BRT) switch: a treble contour switch, useful when switching between single coil and humbucker pickup guitars

DIAMOND "Bass Comp" (SOLD)

The original Diamond Compressor has become one of our most well known products, loved by players for it's smooth response and ability to enhance your instruments tone. Turns out that bass players have discovered the Compressor (many via it's discussion on the TalkBass online forums) and while it generally works great for 4-string passive basses, the performance with 5/6 strings and high output active basses was less than ideal as the frequency response and headroom was optimized for guitar use.
Our response to that interest is the new dedicated Bass Comp, the first Diamond pedal designed specifically for bass players. With low frequency response extending down to 20Hz and increased headroom, the Bass Compressor is ideal for 4/5/6 string basses, both active and passive.
We've also revoiced the Tilt EQ control, offering bassists the choice of the original 900Hz tilt point or a new 250Hz setting, accessible via a mini toggle.

DIAMOND "Memory Lane 2" (SOLD)

End of life notice: the Memory Lane 2 is unfortunately nearing the end of it's lifespan. The supply of NOS Panasonic MN3005 chips we use is becoming very limited and very expensive. Luckily, we've managed to stockpile a modest supply which will allow us to continue building Memory Lane 2 for a short time but when they're gone... they're gone!
The Memory Lane 2 is not a 'hybrid delay' or 'analog voiced' delay. Featuring NOS (new-old-stock) MN3005 BBD (bucket brigade delay) chips running at 15V the Memory Lane offers high headroom and superior sound quality with a 100% analog signal path.
The Memory Lane 2 expands on the innovations of the original Memory Lane offering several new features requested by players and a new twist that further bridges the feature gap between analog and digital delays while retaining the warmth and unique sound of bucket brigade delay devices.
With this newly revised version of our highly acclaimed analog delay pedal players now have the ability to control delay time via an expression pedal input, footswitch between two independent delay times: one set via the Delay knob, the other set using the tap tempo footswitch function. In addition, we've added a dotted 8th note setting for producing 'U2 style' rhythmic delays.
Slapback mode- We've also added a 'slapback' switch to the back of the pedal which allows DLY1 to be set to a single repeat while DLY2 can have as many as you like further enhancing the useability of the pedal.
Spaceship mode- many players loved the way the original Memory Lane could easily be coaxed into self oscillation, but for some players it was a little too easy. We've reduced the sensitivity of the default mode for higher feedback (more repeats) before self oscillation but for the players who are into those jet-fuled, screaming self oscillation sounds, there's an internal switch to enable 'Spaceship mode". In this mode the Feedback path is even more sensitive than the original Memory Lane- fun, fun, fun!

DIAMOND "Tremolo" (SOLD)

At the heart of the new Diamond Tremolo is a 100% analog signal path utilizing an optoisolator like vintage tube amplifiers of the 60's. The analog signal path is combined with a microprocessor controller to provide a host of cool features including:
- tap tempo and footswitchable double speed mode
- user selectable waveforms (sharkfin, sinewave, square wave and 'chop')
- timing accents (3/4, 6/8, 2/4 and 4/4)
- rhythmic trem mode
- 'Chaotic' mode - random speeds with any waveform!
TapView (TM) feature allows the player to visually see the tempo and tap speed while tapping a new setting.
It's important to note that at no point is your instrument signal converted to digital! Everything you hear is completely analog. Vintage sounds, modern flexibility.
