GIBSON "Custom Shop ES-330 VOS w/Bigsby in Vintage Cherry"

ES-330 with a VOS Vintage Cherry finish topped off with a Bigsby tailpiece for adding some subtle (or not so subtle) warble to your chords and licks. The ES-330 is built of a maple/poplar/maple top and sides with a mahogany neck, rosewood fretboard, 24-3/4" scale length, 12" fretboard radius, 1.687" nut width, two underwound P-90 dog-ear pickups, individual volume and tone controls, a tune-o-matic bridge, Kluson tuners with white buttons, a vintage-style nylon nut, and nickel hardware. 

The guitar has light surface marks around the body from the VOS process, however no dings or dents to be seen. The fullow hollow body allows for a lightly amplified acoustic tone that is excellent for strumming around the house, and plugged in the guitar has a mellow and very open tone thanks to the underwound P-90s.

The single-chamber body has a 3-ply maple/poplar/maple top and back, and creates a lively and vibrant sound with incredible sustain. the mahogany neck has a maple spline, enhancing the strength and preventing twisting or warping. And the P-90 pickups sport black plastic covers, standard on early ES models before switching to nickel covers.

GIBSON "ES-339 Memphis Sunset Burst" (SOLD)

The Gibson ES-339 is a semi-hollowbody guitar which is manufactured in Gibson's Memphis Custom Shop^[1] in Memphis Tennessee. The guitar is similar to the size of a Les Paul, but has the body of a semi-hollow body giving a more expressive mid-range to the sound.^[2]

The Gibson ES-339 is the descendant of the ES-335. It is made from a solid maple center block and maple laminate top, back and sides. It is smaller than the ES-335, closer to the size of a Les Paul model.

In terms of electronics, the ES-339 differs from the ES-335 with the use of what Gibson calls the Memphis Tone Circuit.
