I-35 DeluxeThe I-35 Deluxe combines our most premium features with the rich and harmonically complex sound of all solid wood construction. As part of its trim package, the dark textures of the I-35 Deluxe's rosewood fingerboard and ebony faceplate are highlighted by ivoroid fingerboard and peghead binding.

Each Deluxe series guitar is also fitted with ivoroid "top hat" knobs and pickup rings that are hand made in house solely for this series of instruments. Uncompromising in every feature, the I-35 Deluxe is built for the discerning electric guitarist.

Collings Deluxe electrics feature Gotoh SG301 tuners and Kluson tune-o-matic bridges and stop tailpieces.

Custom ivoroid knobs and pickup rings are handmade in our shop and only available on a Collings Deluxe electric.

PREMIUM TONEWOODS

Each Collings Deluxe electric guitar is constructed of all solid woods that are acquired, acclimated, and hand selected for acoustical response by master luthiers here at our shop.

ELECTRONICS

Low-wind Lollar Imperials have a slightly brighter tonality than standards, lending them an exceptional definition and touch response that communicates the harmonic content of the instrument beautifully.

PLAYABILITY

A combination of exacting PLEK machine leveling and hand fret dressing ensures consistently excellent playability and a silky fret feel.

FINISH

By meticulously hand-sanding between coats, our nitrocellulose lacquer finishes measure between .005” and .007” in final thickness, maximizing acoustic response while providing excellent protection and aesthetics.
